No other pool supply and service compares to this neighborhood local! Pinch A Penny has been keeping pools clean and fun since long before everyone realized central Florida was thee place to move to. Their length of time in the business speaks volumes for their quality, customer service and body of knowledge about all things aquatic! I trust no other place for the parts, chemicals and know how needed to keep our pool sparkling and enjoyable in and out of the swim season!
Awesome customer service, I had only been to this location 2 weeks ago and went back Sunday for a water test and Xavier remembered me. Staff is very knowledgeable and told my husband and I about things that no other location has ever told us about the pool. We highly recommend! The store carries alot of inventory and alot of other items that are very nice.
Have been a customer for 16 years after this past week I will never set foot in store again. Started of good after calling to advise them that the pump I bought six months earlier wasn't working. I ws told to bring it in and it would be replaced and covered under the Haywood warranty. After bringing in i was given a new motor that looked as if it has been there for years. Not in a box, covered in dust and rusty on bottom. I left my pump for Jennifer the manager who would replace the following day. I picked up the following day and was told they used the motor they showed me the prior day and advised me it was cleaned up and was good to go. I hooked it up and it worked for a few hours and then started making a terrible noise and then shut down. I called, brought it back with a video that is attached to this review and was told I would get a new motor the following Monday. I was called on the Monday and was told there was nothing wrong with it and to come and pick it up. They saw the video, heard the noise. I disagreed, took it, went home hooked it up and again the noise and burning smell and then within minutes shut down. I called angrily and was told the owner looked at it and said there was nothing wrong with it. Returned it again with a new video. This time the entire pump because they gave me my money back. This went on for a week. The staff are not friendly and some downright rude. When asking for the owner or manager they are never available and always in a meeting. Ordered a new pump elsewhere and paid $40.00 less than I paid six months earlier. If I didn't have a coupon it would have been substantially more. I accidentally lefts an expensive adapter on the old pump and when I called a few says later I was told it was thrown in the garbage. I GUESS THE MOTOR THEY TRIED TO GIVE ME WAS NO GOOD. Paid top dollar for a salt system and a new pump. They charged me upfront and promised a good service. They showed up two weeks later to install both. Took the older functioning pump without asking. Did not setup new pump. The wirings look like they are done by 5 years old. Highly disappointed that a good honest service is hard to find.
