So at first your eyes might be assaulted by the lime green and orange exterior paint scheme, don't let that put you off from what the interior has to offer. A bit more subdued and elegant on the interior so that you can concentrate on the spectacular trip your taste buds are going to go on. Chips and salsa, a staple at any Mexican restaurant, clearly made from scratch and the salsa is a beautiful blend of all the right ingredients, none over powering the other. (And light on the cilantro, which my genetics make taste like soap, so a real treat for me.) Nice selection of starters, lunch items throughout the work week, and drinks, both adult and family friendly, available. There are some interesting ingredients choices I've not seen before and they make it work. Pineapple with fajitas? Yes please. Giant burrito with all the toppings on the inside? Sign me up! The flavors are bold but not overwhelming. The food comes out sizzling and smelling amazing. The overall experience? Well, I'll let you decide... as for me, the hubby and I WILL be coming back!
The restaurant is clean and the food I've had there in my four visits is a good value--- acceptable quantity to price ratio and it tastes good. The staff are all very pleasant and welcoming. However, there are two things that need to be addressed for me to give it 4 stars--- their fajita meat and the attentiveness of their servers. 3 of the 4 times I've been here the servers disappear for 5-10 minutes. I really, really don't like my diet coke glass sitting empty during my meal or needing other things like salt or an extra napkin and my server is a ghost. Very irritating! Secondly, their fajitas are very flavorful but the meat is often in bigger pieces, not the typical thinner strips like many Mexican restaurants. The issues is bigger pieces tend to be tough. They need to tenderize the bigger pieces if they continue with this approach for their fajitas.
Corie, the lady that worked at the restaurant was absolutely LOVELY!!! She worked so hard to ensure we enjoyed everything about our meal! She provided such fantastic customer service, was super friendly and professional and we will definitely be back! Juan the chef prepared an excellent tasting meal for us! Between the super customer service and great food we enjoyed an awesome dining experience and will certainly recommend it. Thank you so much!!!
Very good food, great service, and nice atmosphere. Drinks were strong! Prices were fair. Definitely worth trying! Editing my review. We went back a few times after our first visit. Prices are now super high and quality has gone way down. We had crunchy under cooked rice and it was just a bad experience. Probably will not go back. Hello El chicos
